Many employers offer financial assistance toward your adoption expenses.
There are numerous adoption grants for both domestic and international adoptions. Once your home study is complete, you will be eligible to apply. Many prospective parents mistakenly think that they will exceed income restrictions but you must remember that people who are adopting are considered financially secure.
There are adoption loans that can vary by state and different banks.
Once your adoption is complete, you are eligible for the adoption tax credit.
You may be eligible for a federal tax credits for some or all of your adoption fees. Tax credits can be as high as $14,080. Consult your tax professional to determine your eligibility.
Gift of Adoption FundGift of adoption is a national charitable organization that inspires adoption by providing grants to qualifiedparents, giving children who need families a permanent home and a chance to thrive.
